Subject: GREETINGS FROM PPD

Coaches
Please find attached a psyche sheet for the Friday night events of the upcoming TYR Summer Splash
Please be aware that we will be limiting to the top 64 swimmers in each event Friday night after scratches. Please note that all deaf athletes will be allowed to swim, as this is a selection meet for the US Deafalympic Team. Their are several deaf athletes from around the country to compete in Palatine at the Splash, we look forward to helping them along in their quest for medals...

The other events this weekend that will be limited to the top 64 athletes (8 heats) will be the 13-14 & senior 200 FR, and 13-14 & senior 200 IM.

Please be aware you are able to bring tents to set up for your athletes around the facility and there is also a park adjacent to the facility you may set up tents.
Parking will be at Birchwood and at the School across the street.

As it will undoubtedly be a warm and sunny weekend (knocking on wood) please bring sunscreen!

There will be 2 - 25 minute warm up sessions with assigned lanes.

Please note that this is a very full meet, and we will be unable to accept deck entries. We must insist that swimmers check in prior to the check in deadlines, to ensure a prompt start. We will have a very difficult time in getting a swimmer in the meet if they should miss their check in. I appreciate your cooperation and encouragement of the athletes to check in on time.

Swimmers missing an event wont be able to swim that event that day, we will be running a very efficient meet, so please help in ensuring athletes are behind the block ready to go as we cannot hold the meet up.

I look forward to a very fast, fun, and exciting TYR Splash...any questions please dont hesitate to contact me,
Hope your summer is going great!

Cheers
