Instructions for Making a Payment
(you must have an account to make a payment)

  • Using the link on our PayPal page (click the PayPal icon in the middle of the screen), you will be directed to paypal.com.
  • Select "Personal Account" and select "United States" as your country. Click Continue.
  • Please fill in all personal information on this screen. When asked whether you would like a premier account, click "no" (premier accounts have extra fees associated with them). Click yes for "I agree to user agreement" and "I accept the terms of liability." Click Continue.
  • You will then be asked to continue the process by opening an email which PayPal will send you. Open a new browser and log on to your email.
  • In the email sent to you by PayPal, you will be prompted to "click here to activate your account." Do so and the next screen will prompt you to enter your PayPal password which you selected when entering your personal information. Click Continue.
  • The next screen will ask you to link to your checking or savings account. Click Continue (if you are only paying by credit card and not transferring funds directly from checking or savings, you may click Skip at this point).
  • Enter your account information as prompted. Click Continue
  • Next you will need to verify your account (you should receive an email from PayPal explaining the process). This may take a few business days, as PayPal will make some small deposits to your checking account. You will need to know the amounts of these small deposits to verify your account.
  • To finish the verification process, simply go to paypal.com, login, and click on "account status: unverified." Once you are verified, read the confirmation page, and click Continue. This will take you to a page which will show you your paypal account info and balance (not your checking account info or your swim team account info).
  • Next to Account Balance, click "view limits." If your payment will be larger than $500, you will need to remove the pre-set monthly transfer limit of $500. To do this you will need your social security number and a credit card number.
  • At this stage you may add a credit card to your PayPal account if you wish to pay by credit card instead of transferring funds directly from a checking or savings account.
  • Go to paypal.com and login. Your login is the email you selected when you created your account. Your password is the password you selected when you created your account.
  • Click the "Send Money" tab near the top of the screen. This will take you to a payment information screen where you will be asked to fill in a few items.
  • In the line labeled "recipient's email," enter billing@wheatonswimming.com
  • In the line labeled "amount" please enter the total fees you will be paying, including training fees, ISI fees, escrow payments, and the 2.9% online convenience fee. (To calculate the amount you owe, please click here - don't forget the 2.9% convenience fee. You must pay the entire amount you owe if you choose to use PayPal or pay by credit card. The 3-payment option is only available to familes paying by check).
  • In the line labeled "type" select "service" from the pull-down menu.
  • In the line labeled "currency" be sure "US Dollars" is selected.
  • In the line labeled "subject" please enter the first and last names of one of your swimmers. This will ensure that we credit the proper account with your payment.
  • In the line labeled "note" enter a brief itemized description of the payment being made.
  • Click Continue.
  • On the next screen you will be prompted to verify all the payment info that you entered. At the bottom of the page under "shipping information" click "No shipping address required." Click Continue.
  • To print a record of payments made, click on "view details of this transaction" and print the next screen which appears.
