Registration Information - 2010 Long Course (Spring & Summer)

Note that online registration will generally open in July for the fall/winter season and February for the Spring/Summer season. New members may join throughout the year as long as space is available on the team. To read about the upcoming season, please scroll down.

2010 Registration Basics - Spring & Summer 2010

Note: NOT for use for 2009-10 fall / winter or for swim lessons. See our main registration page page for team information up through March, 2010.

REGISTRATION PROCESS AND DATES - Long Course 2010

Feb 1-15, 2010	Online Registration (new and returning members)	Swimmers who register before Feb 15 receive $20 discount per swimmer.
Feb 16-28, 2010	Online Registration (new and returning members)	Swimmers who register before Feb 28 receive $15 discount per family!
Bonus Discount!	Online Registration (new and returning members)	Register for the full season by Jan 31 and receive an addtional $10 off per family!!
Feb 1-28, 2010	Online Registration (new and returning members)	A spot on the team will be guaranteed for returning members until Feb 28
March 1, 2010	Online Registration (new and returning members)	Remaining spots will be filled on a first come first serve basis beginning March 1, 2010
Anytime	Tutorial & Help Sessions (new and returning member)	Contact the coaching staff for an appointment if you would like help with online registration

GROUP FEES - Long Course Fees 2010

Group Descriptions
Note: Families who register before Feb 15 receive a $20 discount per swimmer. Families who register before Feb 28 recieve a $15 discount per family.
Families who pay their fees up front receive a 2% discount!
Bonus Discount. Register by Jan 31 for any Full Season group and get an additional $10 off per family.
Swimmers who purchased an ISI Membership in the fall/winter do not need to do so again.

More Fees Information and Details

All fees are due at the time of registration, unless you participate in the installment plan below. Contact a coach or see the website if you are interested in paying by credit card or Pay-pal.

Training Fees		Group Fees include training fees only. Note that there is a multiple swimmers discount, as outlined below. You also receive a 2% discount for paying your fees in full upfront.

ISI Fees		Wheaton Swim Club must register all athletes (except Orange) with ISI (Illinois Swimming, Inc) and USA Swimming. This $60 fee money is passed directly on to Illinois Swimming and covers your insurance. Your ISI fee is good from Sept 1, 2009 through Aug 31, 2010. Read More About ISI Fees

ESCROW and MEET ENTRIES		You now can register for swim meets online! There is no more Escrow Account for swimmers. Meet fees are paid online at the time you sign up for each meet.

FUNDRAISING (winter only)		The team participates in several fundraising activities throughout the year (fall / winter only), including a Give-and-Get “Scrips” program, USA Swimming’s Swim-a-Thon, and many advertising opportunities. Read More About Fundraising Visit our Fundraising Page

REFUNDS		Team fees are non-refundable after 10 practices have been offered for your swimmer’s group, or two full weeks have passed, which ever comes first. ISI fees are non-refundable. The team must be notified in writing if you choose to leave the team.

HIDDEN COSTS, SCHOLARSHIPS, and INCENTIVES		There are no mandatory costs involved in our program other than what is outlined on this page. Any other costs are your own choice (apparel, travel meets, etc.). The team’s goal is to make it possible for any member of the community to participate. Please see a member of the staff with any questions you may have. Financial incentive or scholarship opportunities are also available.

DISCOUNTS		Additional family member - 5% reduction fee for second child, 10% discount for 3rd, 4th, 5th etc. There is also an early-bird discount offered each season for swimmers who register before specific dates.

INSTALLMENT PLANS:		The team offers many opportunities to make payment according to different schedules. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have another solution or a question about billing. Read About Installment Plans
