Training Fees. Group Fees include training fees only.
Meet Fees. Additionally the team will have an escrow account which will be used for your ISI meet entry fees. Each event you are entered in costs about $2.50, any many times swimmers swim in 8-10 events per meet. The team must pay this money about 6 weeks before each meet to the meet hosts, which is why we maintain an escrow account for each swimmer. When your escrow account falls below a certain level, you will be notified as such.
ISI Fees. All swimmers must register with ISI and pay the ISI registration fee ($51 for 2005), which is then passed directly on to Illinois Swimming. (This fee covers all your liability insurance for practices and meets.)
Refunds. Team fees are non-refundable after 2 weeks of practice. Any money in your escrow account would be refunded to you if you decide to leave the team. ISI fees are non-refundable. The team must be notified in writing if you choose to leave the team.
Hidden Costs. There are no hidden costs involved in our program. Any other costs would be at your own choice (team apparel, travel meets, etc).
The team's goal is to make it possible for anyone to participate on the team. Please see a member of the coaching staff with any questions you may have. Financial incentive or scholarship opportunities may be available.
